Service Description: Product: Hamilton County Indiana 2023 Orthophotography. Dataset Description: Hamilton County, IN 2023 Orthophotography project called for the Planning, Acquisition, AeroTriangulation, and orthophotography processing of Imagery data collected at 7cm ground sample distance (GSD). Project Area of Interest (AOI) included the county boundary and extended in all directions for a total area of 485 square miles. Existing LiDAR data supplied by the county was used as ground elevation surface to orthorectify all imagery. The counties existing 1,250ft x 1,250ft sheet tile scheme was used and extended to cover full project area. There is a total of 8,648 butt matching sheet tiles at 3inch, or 0.25', ground sample distance pixel resolution in 4-band GeoTiff file format. Mr. SID Gen-4 formatted files were also created at a 20:1 compression ratio. A single full county composite file was created as well as a composite file for each of the nine townships encompassing the county. Ground conditions: Data collected with leaf off and no snow. All data will be in NAD83(HARN)/NAVD88, GEOID 09, State Plane Indiana East Zone, US Survey Feet. Imagery was acquired on March 30 and April 9, 2023 using a Vexcel Eagle Mark 1 digital sensor at 7cm GSD and delivered in TIFF format with processed ABGPS/IMU data. Imagery was used to generate 3" Orthophotography. Ground Control: GRW established 31 ground control points which were used to control the 7cm imagery to known ground locations established throughout the project area.
