<idAbs>Dewberry was selected in the Fall of 2023 to provide Hamilton County, Indiana digital, color orthoimagery services. The aerial imagery was collected by Aerodata on February 29, 2024 using a DMC III 27546 calibrated imagery sensor mounted in a fixed-wing aircraft equipped with Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU) and Airborne GPS. Aerial imagery was collected to support 3-inch orthoimagery to meet the National Mapping Accuracy Standard (NMAS) for 1"=50' scale mapping. Ayres Associates performed aerial triangulation and orthorectification. Orthoimagery was rectified to a DEM surface created from the Lidar data acquired separately for this project. Dewberry collected surveyed ground control points that were used in the aerial triangulation process. All mapping products associated with this project are prepared and delivered in North American Datum 1983 (NAD83) 2011, Indiana State Plane Coordinate System, East Zone (EPSG 6459).</idAbs>

<stepDesc>Data for the Hamilton County Aerial Imagery Project was acquired by Aerodata. The project area included approximately 485 contiguous square miles for Hamilton County, Indiana. The imagery collected was collected by Aerodata using a DMC III 27546 digital aerial mapping camera. The data were delivered in the Indiana State Plane Coordinate System, East Zone (EPSG 6459), U.S. Survey Feet, horizontal datum NAD83 (2011), vertical datum NAVD88. All control points are located at well-defined photo-identifiable positions. Softcopy analytical AT was done using INPHO Match-AT imagery postprocessing software. The process included automatic point matching (measuring) and a leastsquares-simultaneous-robust bundle-block adjustment. All images were included in one block. Orthorectification was performed using Hexagon ImageStation OrthoPro. The orthoimagery was mosaicked and radiometrically balanced to ensure tonal consistency. The final pixel resolution is 3 inches. 8648 orthomosaic tiles were produced. Each orthomosaic tile is 1250 feet x 1250 feet.</stepDesc>
